From 2019-2022, I was the in-house graphic designer for Moving in the Spirit’s social media promotions and website. I also had the honor to create work for print and marketing product design, with a touch of copywriting for these images.
It is always an honor to be of service to such a dynamic non-profit. This one was no different. My involvement during the height of the pandemic was certainly a creative time, we couldn’t have photo shoots with our kids so I was given the freedom to reimagine older images for class work becoming digital. I ran my first Instagram live events, coordinating with the teachers, found a mentor and was able to edit some complex video work. It’s truly the simple things and really one of the most creatively expansive I had been allowed to be (within the parameters of a brand guideline, of course!) for a company and their digital landscape assets.
I can not recommend Moving in the Spirit’s programs enough. The studios are glorious to work within, the teachers are gifted and dedicated, and the students … every student I had the honor of meeting both alums and current were incredible bright lights to observe and love. <3
